Eligibility Criteria
- The scholarship is open to international students from any country, except those who have already obtained a Master’s degree or equivalent from a Belgian university.
- The applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science or a related field, with excellent academic results.
- The applicants must demonstrate a strong interest and motivation for studying science at KU Leuven, as well as a clear vision of their future career goals.
- The applicants must meet the language requirements of the chosen Master’s program, which may vary depending on the program.
Required Documents
The applicants must submit the following documents along with their online application for the Master’s program:
- A motivation letter, explaining why they want to study science at KU Leuven and how the scholarship will help them achieve their goals.
- A curriculum vitae, highlighting their academic and professional achievements, as well as their extracurricular activities and skills.
- A copy of their Bachelor’s degree certificate and transcript, or a proof of enrollment if they are still completing their Bachelor’s degree.
- A copy of their passport or identity card.
- A proof of English proficiency, such as TOEFL, IELTS, or Cambridge certificates, if required by the chosen Master’s program.
Deadline
- The deadline for applying for the Science@Leuven Scholarship is February 15, 2024. The applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by the end of April 2024.
